Common questions

Does the Free plan actually include fraud prevention?
Yes — fully. The Free plan includes the same network-wide buyer risk score, device fingerprinting, and order hold / block features as paid plans. The only limits are order volume (200/month) and no OTP verification.
What counts as an "order" toward my monthly limit?
Each COD order submitted through the Preventify form counts as one order. Test orders and cancelled orders before fulfilment do not count. The counter resets on the 1st of each calendar month.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel directly from the Preventify app inside Shopify Admin. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. There are no cancellation fees.
How is billing handled?
Billing is processed entirely through Shopify's billing system — it appears on your Shopify invoice alongside any other apps you use. No separate payment method required.
Does Preventify work with all Shopify themes?
Yes. Preventify installs via Shopify's App Embed — a clean injection point that doesn't require editing any theme code. It's compatible with all Online Store 2.0 themes and most legacy themes.
Is there a free trial on paid plans?
Yes — both Basic and Pro plans include a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then with no charges.
